This course is designed to help engineers understand and use AutoForm for sheet metal forming simulation in real industrial workflows.
The focus is on forming fundamentals first, followed by hands-on simulation practice.
 

You will learn how sheet metal behaves during stamping and how AutoForm predicts real manufacturing issues before tool try-out.
Key concepts such as blank, punch, die, binder, addendum, beads, and material flow are explained clearly and visually.
 

The course covers complete forming setup, including geometry preparation, process definition, material selection, and solver execution.
You will learn to interpret results like thinning, thickening, splits, wrinkles, insufficient stretch, and FLD analysis.
 

Special emphasis is given to binder force, draw beads, addendum design, springback, and formability control.
You will understand what parameter to increase or decrease to fix each defect.
 

This course is ideal for press tool designers, sheet metal engineers, CAE analysts, and students who want practical AutoForm knowledge used in automotive and industrial applications.
 

By the end of the course, you will be able to set up forming simulations confidently, analyze defects, and support die design decisions with simulation results.
